Although school started again today, recently I've been enjoying my few days off after the end of exams and naturally I found time for a quick shopping trip. It really was quick, as I'd gone to the shopping centre with my mum to look at possible 18th birthday presents and I had about half an hour left before we had to leave. I whizzed around H&M, tried on a few things, made some snap decisions and whizzed back out again. Here's a sneak peek of what I got:
1. The floral things are actually really loose, lightweight cottony trousers, which I absolutely love because they're so comfy but also stylish and could be worn on a number of occasions. I have another pair similar to this, but they're in a kind of boho print which I fell in love with but later I realised don't really have anything to wear them with, so I'm hoping these will be more of a success since black is way more my colour scheme. They were €9.99, which is pretty great considering my other ones were about three times that!
2. Next I got a dark blue slouchy cardigan, which I'm on the lookout for as I love my cardis but always seem to end up coming back to the same 2 or 3. This shade tends to bring out the blue in my otherwise grey eyes, which is always a plus. They were also €9.99.
3. Last I got this magnificent dress, which I love to bits. It looks quite wide and shapeless as it's almost a kind of smock dress, in that the waistband isn't tight and it kind of floats around. It's really thin and lightweight so I can see myself wearing this in both summer and winter, and it's also the kind of thing that can be dressed up for a party or dressed way down, depending on what you wear with it - I'd also definitely wear it to school. It was €14.99 which was a total bargain.
